RHINO TRED PROVIDES A SUPERIOR CONCRETE TREAD RESULT
Patented RHINO TRED replaces the need to build with costly concrete-filled pan stairs, loud diamond plate, or heavy standard precast stairs or treads.
Our precast concrete stair treads are built with a patented lightweight core design, using a UHPC 10,500 psi concrete. 48″ treads weight 34lbs, a 70% weight reduction compared to traditional precast stair treads.
These stair treads are designed to sit on top of flat metal stairs. When a closed riser stair design is required, our universal stair support tread offers an easy solution for building stairs.
Before the precast concrete steps are installed, the metal stair risers offer safe egress on the job site. Stairwell painting and clean-up can happen before the final installation of RHINO TRED. When construction is complete, simply adhere the treads to the stair pan.
